·Do you accept Section 8?

Some of our homes do accept Section 8. If there is a particular property you are interested in and would like to inquire whether or not it accepts Section 8, please contact us.

·Do you allow pets?

Our firm is pet-friendly and many of our homes do allow pets. However, the properties we manage are owned by different homeowners and this answer is ultimately provided by the owner of the home. If there is a specific property that interests you and you would like to inquire whether or not pets are allowed, please make an inquiry by providing the property address, animal type, breed type and quantity to 
info@rhepropertymanagement.com. Please note that due to insurance regulations, guard dog breeds are not accepted. You can do a web search for "guard dog breeds" for a list of breeds considered to be in this category. We strongly recommend that you inquire and obtain pet approval prior to submitting an application since application fees are non-refundable. If your pet is accepted, you will be required to pay a $250.00 non-refundable pet fee per allowable pet upon lease execution.

Do you offer short term leases?

Our standard lease agreement runs form 181 - 365 days. However, there are instances when one of our homeowners will accept a shorter term lease. If there is a particular property you are interested in and would like to inquire if a short term lease is available, please 
contact us.

·Do you require Renters Insurance?

Tenants are not required by RHE Property Management but are strongly encouraged to obtain Renters Insurance to protect their household goods. Their decision, yes or no, does not impact our Firm or the homeowner / landlord. Although Renters Insurance is recommended, it is not enforced or tracked by RHE Property Management .

·How can I view one of your rental properties?

To schedule a property showing, call our office at (772) 519-8535 to book your showing appointment. 

·How do I submit an application?


Applications should be submitted online through our website. The application can be completed by going to the featured properties page, selecting the unit and accessing it from there, or
click here to apply online.

·There are a couple of your rental properties that I am interested in. Do I have to submit separate applications for each of these properties?

Qualified applications are valid for 30 days from date of submission within our firm. If you submit an application for one of our properties and are qualified to rent that property, your application may be able to be used (within 30 days of submission) toward another available property in our inventory that is within the same price range as the original property you applied to rent. Restrictions may apply. Please contact us to discuss.

·What are the application fees?

Standard application fees are $50 per adult applicant / guarantor but may vary by property. Review your property's application for application fee rate. Application fees are Non-Refundable.

·What are the application requirements and how long does the application process take?

RHE Property Management runs credit, criminal and eviction background checks on all adult applicants / guarantors. Each adult applicant / guarantor age 18 and over is required to submit an application to be considered for our rental properties. A non-refundable application fee per adult applicant / guarantor is due at the time the application is submitted. In addition to the online application and fee, the following items are to be submitted by each adult applicant / guarantor: copy of valid drivers license / photo ID, copies of two most recent pay stubs or a copy of most recent 1040 (in the event of self-employment), an employment offer letter (in the event of relocating to the area and / or beginning new employment). It is recommended that applicants contact their current landlord (if renting) to notify that RHE Property Management will be inquiring about a rental reference.

If RHE Property Management has obtained all requested information from all adult applicants / guarantors, the average turn-around time to complete the application process is 2 business days.


·How can I make a maintenance request?

·How can I pay rent online?

You can pay rent online through your tenant portal.

·How can I renew my lease?

You will be contacted by one of our office personal at least 30 days prior to lease expiration to discuss your lease.

·How do I request a portal password or change my portal password?

You can request a portal password from the portal log in screen or call our office at 772-519-8535 during business hours and a Support Team Member can assist with your request. When you request a password, an automated email with a system generated password and link to log in to your portal will be sent to the email address RHE Property Management has on file. The system generated password is case sensitive and should be typed exactly as shown in the automated email. If you have tried to log in multiple times from the same browser and are unable to access your portal, you may need to clear your browser’s history/cache before attempting to log in again. 

To update your portal password while logged in to your portal: From the My Account page, click the Change Email and Password link that appears on the right side of the screen in the My Contact Information section. Make appropriate changes and click Save when done.

·How do I set up my utilities?

Under the tenants tab, the Utilities page will provide you with links and contact information for county utility providers. Unless specified in your lease agreement, utilities at your rental property must be transferred into your name on the start date of your lease term.


·I am not renewing my lease. How do I submit a notice to vacate?

You will be contacted by one of our office personal at least 30 days prior to lease expiration to discuss your lease.

·I’m moving out before the end of my lease. Do I still have to pay rent?

You are bound to your lease term as stated in your Lease Agreement. If you vacate before the end of your lease term, you still have an obligation to pay rent as per your lease agreement.

·What is the procedure for vacating my property?

Begin by calling the office at 772-219-8538 with your intent to vacate. Your property manager will then contact you to begin the move out process.
